We look forward to welcoming experts who want to give back to our communities through our “Travel for Good'' program. In exchange, our eco lodges are available for comfortable stay and a tour of our town.

TRAVEL FOR GOOD

  • Our social enterprise AFRiLOSOPHY, provides opportunities to local communities in entrepreneurial and manufacturing skills. We also run a cosmetics production center and a recycling venture to reduce plastic waste in our town.
  • Our Rural Education Project (REP) aims to build primary schools in deprived rural areas. Build a school- the Rural Education Project has identified 10 priority primary schools, we are now on case number 2. Maybe you have a more sustainable way to get things sme? We would love to invite you to come and stay and donate your expertise, resources, in getting the job done.

YOUTH LED TOURISM

Training support and volunteers needed to help us create sustainable tourism opportunities in the following areas: group tour coordinators, specialist guides (eco tourism/ cultural) tour guides/ operators, sales reservation agents, site guide, meet and greet guide, Sales and marketing, catering and public relations.

COSMEICS & SOAP

currently manufacturing and retailing our innovative body care and herbal hair products locally. We would love the opportunity to expand our training to more women and youth. BUILD A SCHOOL

The Rural Education Project has identified 10 priority primary schools, and we are now on case number 3. We would love to invite you to come and stay and donate your expertise, time, creativity, in getting the job done. We are currently exploring the possibility of using building blocks made out of recycled plastic material. This recycled material has proved to be very tough and durable in creating floor pavers and driveways, we would like to explore the possibility of these blocks also being used to create affordable buildings such as schools, youth hostels for university students in the rural areas, and sustainable homes. If you have any expertise in this area, we would love to host you!
